Core Fundamentals guides new and returning lifters through the Big Four lifts safely, helping you master technique and build a foundation for lasting strength.

Every new member at West Coast Elite begins with our Core Fundamental program. This is a 6 total session with a WCE coach. We recommend 3 sessions a week for 2 weeks. This is designed to set you up for long-term success by building a solid foundation in movement, technique, and confidence.

In Core Fundamentals, we teach the BIG FOUR LIFTS - bench press, military press, squats (front squat & back squat), and the deadlift- because these movements are the backbone of strength training. You’ll learn proper mechanics, bracing, and full range of motion (ROM) to ensure safe, effective, lifting that develops true, transferable strength.

We also recognize that everyone comes in different backgrounds, abilities, and mobility levels. That’s why we will start will a mobility check and begin each session with warmup that consist of ROM exercises. We will also cover potential substitutions and variations for each lift, giving you options that match your current capacity while keeping you progressing toward your goals and FULL ROM.
